Description:4 day safari walking with Camels in Laikipia, near Rumuruti, and camping out.
Day 1
Travel from Nairobi up through the Great Rift Valley, round the northern end of the Aberdare Mountains to Bobong. Overnight in the campsite.
Day 2
Start off walking with the camels along the Uaso Narok river, in Laikipia. You have a wonderful chance when walking through the bush to notice all the smaller things; the birds and their songs; the animal tracks; the varing vegetation; insects; and, by chance, to get close to the wild animals. Overnight is in a fly camp.
Day 3
Continue the walk and exploration of the bush.
Day 4
Back to Bobong, and your return transport to Nairobi.
